At piggyfiggyhappy.com, we are dedicated to bringing joy and happiness through simple, positive story telling. We want to help parents spend with time with their kids to create happy, positive homes with our family friendly stories. In coming months Piggy Figgy Happy will have more stories to share.

Sterling grew up the son of a farmer and a teacher. He and Renee married after college and his global business career took them all over the world. But Sterling never lost his love for the farm, especially pigs. His pig stories were told to his children and grandchildren to entertain and put them to sleep. One day in 2006 he decided to write a story, and Piggy Figgy Happy was created with Renee’s help. It was a Christmas gift for their grandchildren that year.

Katie McDee was asked to be the illustrator. She had recently graduated with an art degree, and after studying the subjects she created all the art. With Katie’s help the story took on a life. Her talents were obvious from childhood and through her education and training developed a unique style and character with her illustrations. She currently is a regular illustrator for The Friend Magazine.
